Central MN Ag Weather Network Expansion

Through a local partnership supported by Clean Water Funding, the MN Department of Agriculture and
the East Otter Tail SWCD are bringing a local source of agricultural weather information to Central MN. In
2014 four new stations have been installed bringing the total number of stations in this network up to
nine. To support efficient irrigation water use decisions, daily crop evapotranspiration (ET) data is posted
online at www.eotswcd.org under the irrigation tab on the East Otter Tail SWCD homepage. Links to the weather stations information can also be found on this page to the top left of your screen. The image below shows the locations of the weather stations.

Irrigation Scheduler Program

The Wadena Soil and Water Conservation District along with the Todd and Hubbard SWCD's would like to inform you about the Irrigation Scheduler Program that is available to join. Irrigation Scheduler Program is designed to help you make sound, irrigation management decisions. This program is open to any farmer with center pivot irrigation. If you are converting a center pivot over to low pressure and are using NRCS’s EQIP program, this program will cover their irrigation management requirements.
